The usual casino-goer in Manila was the older generation, therefore to differentiate Okada needed to be a place of experience and fun while still having the values of relaxation and luxury of other casino resorts.

Our concept, “Memorable experiences,” offered the right product at the right time and was an important standard set by the company to achieve – impacting all the other elements of marketing. Okada’s logo plays on the traditional Japanese crest of the Okada family and reflects the different parts of the integrated resort, emphasizing the fun and unpretentious luxury of the young resort. The Okada pink expressed the excitement of the new location and of the experiences that would be available within the casino. As the visual lure of the brand, colors were a key element in the interior design and the vibrant palette was a distinguishing characteristic from the classic luxury palette of the Wynn casino in Macau. The palette was selected as a modern representation of traditional Japanese colors, a culture that is present throughout the design of the casino resort.
